Marana Health Care was located in a temporary trailer on the campus of Tucson Medical Center for many years. With the coming of a new multi story tower, the general clinic needed to be relocated, as well as expanded. SDG provided the remodel and addition to an existing 5000 square foot facility across the street from TMC. Work flow and efficiency gave the general design direction, while upgrades to finishes, lighting, and more natural light enabled the formerly dark interiors to brighten considerably. MHC expanded again a few years later, this time for its behavioral health clinic and new pharmacy. An adjacent building was gutted and all new interiors were created. Security, flow of patients and access to needed services were the primary focus of the new layout. Easy access to the entry and pharmacy were also critical. A remodeled entry and parking lot also helped direct new patients into this new clinic.
