Northwest Bible purchased a property a few years ago to build a new church campus. However, after careful consideration and prayer, the congregation decided to remain and sell the new property. The new focus would be to make the existing church campus better, starting with their 25 year old sanctuary. Originally designed as a traditional seating layout in long rows looking towards the stage at the far end, church leadership wanted to explore how this space could better present the gospel and serve attendees. The results is two fold: centering the stage on the side, and opening the exterior wall to a courtyard. New stage, lighting, ceiling and flooring transformed the original sanctuary without adding a square foot to the footprint. The new 20’ long sliding glass wall system opens the sanctuary directly to the enhanced courtyard with a new structural shading system. Attendees can fellowship int he covered courtyard, with mountain views, grass and trees in this desert oasis, and then move directly into the new sanctuary seamlessly. A new beverage area enhances the remodeled lobby area. And as you approach the the building from parking, the new shade structures draw you to the courtyard.
